BBN Technologies Supports The Cambridge Challenge, Summer 2008

For the past few years, BBN has been committed to hiring high school interns
from the Cambridge Challenge program with great success.  In the summer of
2008, BBN hired 6 teens from the program in both administrative and
technical positions.  Supervisors were so pleased with the quality of work
from their interns that most continued to work throughout the school year
either as part-time employees, as co-op students, or on school vacations, and some
will also return to continue their projects this upcoming summer.

Cambridge Innovation joins the Cambridge Challenge
“The Summer Internship Program has been very beneficial to the CIC community. There is a real benefit to having young people who provide such a unique perspective. Since many of CIC’s clients are developing products intended for young audiences, their contributions are particularly valuable. Additionally, incorporating interns into the structure of CIC and our client companies has helped to relieve workloads while providing  life changing opportunities to Cambridge youth”
