Community Outreach Committee

The Community Outreach Committee identifies opportunities for community involvement, educates Chamber members about the importance of corporate philanthropy, and implements the philanthropic portion of the Chamber's mission.  Currently, the committee focuses on the Cambridge Challenge bringing business and youth together as partners and Community Service Days helping to beautify the City of Cambridge.

Mission

The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce established the Community Outreach Committee in 1995 to further its commitment to the local community. Its purpose is to engage Chamber members in actively strengthening and supporting educational initiatives for youth in Cambridge by identifying member resources and interests and brokering successful matches. The Chamber encourages support through volunteer and philanthropic initiatives, and seeks to enhance public awareness of these efforts.
